There are many letters that are articulated from the tip of the tongue and I'm wondering where they are in relation to each other and which ones are closer to the teeth and furthest and so on. Could you please give me an idea about this?

May Allaah reward you tremendously for providing this resource to the Muslims. I was pleased to see the accuracy of the information and the use of 'Arabic when needed.  The Q&A should prove to be very helpful as well. I hope that you could, however, stress the importance of taking the Qur'aan TALAQQEAN as that's how it was revealed to Muhammad sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam and taken by our salaf.  Our brothers and sisters have a nice resource with your site, but at the same time they should be warned about the dangers of learning to recite the Qur'aan without a teacher to correct them, a teacher who has an ijaazah, or at least is free of mistakes in his/her pronunciation.  You may have something on this that I could not find, so if you do then please excuse me.

In Arabic pronunciation there is no letter like zuad. But many of the people especially in Pakistan while reciting the holy Qur'an, pronounce  as Zuad. Please guide me where it's pronunciation as Zuad is correct or not.

I have a question about the that is the  that appears at the end of words and whose timing is sometimes elongated (as shown by the writing of a small  or after it); can you give me any pointers how a non-Arab speaker could tell if it is in fact a "pronoun"  added to the end of a word or just a  that is part of the word?

Praise and thanks be to Allah, the following words appear in surat-il Kahf,: .  My question is : here there is a medd letter (the alif maqsoora saakinah after the fat-ha on the  ) followed by a sukoon, actually by two sukoons one on the hamzat-al wasl and one on the lam after it, so there is a medd letter followed by a sukoon which should result in a mad laazim (as I understand, the sukoon following the medd letter is the condition for the mad laazim).  Could you please explain why there is not a long medd here?

I have a question concerning the stop (waqf) represented by the letter sawd.  When I encounter this symbol I generally take a breath and move on, however my teacher says that I have to go back one or two words and then continue. When I listen to the recitors they just stop and keep reciting without going back.  What should I do?
