Question (29 Ramadhaan 1424/Nov.
24, 2003) Assalamu Aleikum I have a few questions regarding the Tajweed Schools. 1. I am amazed that there are many children who memorized or have memorized the Qur'an sometimes before the age of ten or fifteen. Would you please give me a detailed schedule that some of these schools offer the children to help them memorize the Qu'ran? In other words, do the children have specific surahs they have to learn? 2. When a Qari reads a verse of the Qur'an (in front of an audience or not), what is the correct posture, he/she should adopt while reading (without any exaggeration)? 3. Finally, among all
the Qaris that I have been listening to so far, I have noticed that they
have all a very nice voice, although different from one another. Therefore, do
Tajweed schools teach how to beautify the voice when reading? If not, how
should one improve one's voice when reading the Qur'an? Ma Salam Question

Aleikum Question (29 Ramadhaan 1424/Nov. 24, 2003) Assalamu
Aleikum Would you
please tell us more about Sheikh Saud Shuraim and Sheikh Abdur Rahman Sudais
(biography)? Question (27 Ramadhaan 1424/Nov. 22, 2003) Assalam alaikoum, Dear brother or sister. I would love to
learn the art of reading the Qur'an. I am not a native Arab. So I suppose it
will be a long process. Is there a school here in I am so serious about it that I won't even exclude the possibility to obtain a scholarship and really learn the art. I am talking about being able to read like Bassit or imam Soudais. And it is not a joke. Question (19 Ramadhaan 1424/Nov. 14, 2003) Assalamualaikum
wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh Many Sheikhs
have said this is a mistake in Qiraah while others have said that it is
permissible. I would like your opinion on this or even proofs of either
way being correct. Question (18 Ramadhaan 1424/Nov. 13, 2003) Assalamu'alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, Ramadhan Mubarak to all involved in this good site. I just want to know are the Part 2 and 3 of Tajweed Rules of the Quran ready by now? If they are ready, I would like to have an info on how to place an order. Many sisters here in the UAE are interested in the book (Tajweed Rules of the Quran by Ustazah Kareema) but we do not have it here. Is there any plan to distribute the book in the UAE? JazakAllah khair in advance. Question (18 Ramadhaan 1424/Nov. 13, 2003) Assalamu Aleikum I have the copy of the Qur'an in both Hafs and Warsh. I would like to know whether it would also be possible to find a copy of the Qur'an written in "As Soosiyy"? Furthermore, I would like to know in which countries is the recitation of the Qur'an in "As Soosiyy" more recited? May Allah help
you inshallah Question (15 Ramadhaan 1424/Nov. 10, 2003) Asalaam
alaikum. Question (14 Ramadhaan 1424/Nov. 9, 2003) Assalamualaikum wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakatuh, I have a question that is not related to tajweed but is more related to the manners of reading the Qur'an. There is a common practice in some places that a group of people will divide 30 juz' among themselves to be read (esp. in Ramadhan). When everybody finished, they will gather and read together from surah AdDhuha till the end which they call it majlis khitm AlQuran. Is this allowed? I've tried to ask from the other websites but resulted in waiting lists. JazakumuLlah in advance. Question (11 Ramadhaan 1424/Nov. 6, 2003) Assalamu
Aleikum May Allah help
you and give you his Baraka and Grace inshallah Question (10 Ramadhaan 1424/Nov. 5, 2003) Assalaamu
alakium Question (8 Ramadhaan 1424/Nov. 3, 2003) Salam aliekum wa rahamatuallah dear brother in Islam. May take this opportunity to wish you ramadan karim and may Allah reward you for this wonderful site inshallah. My question is simple really; is there a limit to how much Qur’an can be read? it would just settle a family dispute, whereby some members of the family take to reading the Qur’an many, many times, esp. during Ramadan ....over 5 or 6 possibly double that number. Isn’t that too many? The basis for me is that I thought that I read a hadith in which the Prophet (saw) instructed one not to read the whole Qur’an in less than a week. The reasoning I thought was if it was read in any less time, one would be reading it too fast to be able to ponder over the verses. Is this totally wrong? I apologize if I am repeating a similar question and jazakahallah kheir for your anticipated wisdom. salam aliekum Question (3 Ramadhaan 1424/Oct. 29, 2003) Asalamu-Alaikum, Question
