How many thick letters for ikhfa 7 or 5 if five which are they?
There are seven letters which always have tafkheem , but only five of them would cause an ikhfa' of the noon saakinah or tanween if they followed it.  That is because two of the seven letters, (the kha' and Ghayn) cause the noon saakinah or tanween to be read clearly.  The letters of tafkheem which cause the noon to be read with an ikfha' are ص، ض، ط، ق" ظ
