How do you read min fissamaai when it has an ikhfaa on the noon?

Question
How do you read min fissamaai when it has an ikhfaa on the noon?  Is reading it with idgham on the faa correct?
maffissamaai ( the ayah is from suratal Mulk).

Answer
When reading , specifically the ikhfa' of , you pronounce the meem with a fathah, then get mouth ready to pronounce the , but not putting pressure on the articulation point, instead close to it, and two upper front teeth rest lightly on the lower lip.  While this is done, there should be a ghunnah.   It is not correct to make an and pronounce the during the ghunnah, instead the mouth is ready to pronounce it, so the sound is not of an (merging of the noon into the ) and not of a clear noon either, but instead between an and .  This is the definition of 'ikhfa':The pronunciation of a non-voweled letter, stripped of any “shaddah”, characterized as between clear ()  and merged (), with the ghunnah remaining on the first letter.
