Question
Salam alaikum. May Allah reward you for your hard work.

I understand Warsh is complicated however i have a quick question regarding stopping. In surah zaariyaat all recitors of warsh stop at "zooqoo fitnakum" even though the mushaf doesnt indicate a stop there (this is the purple/pinkish madinah mushaf).

Can I ask what causes this stop as it seems like a sakt of some sort.

Answer
Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
Wa iyyaakum.
This is considered a waqf hasan, meaning it is complete in meaning but linked in meaning and in grammar to that which comes next, so it is necessary to go back a few words when starting up.  The science of stopping and starting though is not black and white and often you find scholars differing as to the type of stop it is on a specific word.  It is possible some state this is a sufficient stop.  Allah knows best.
This stop is not linked to the specific riwaayah of Warsh, Allah knows best.
There is no sakt there for any of the different qiraa'aat.
