How long would it take if beginner for the course Hafs 'an Aasim?
The time it takes a student at a beginning level to master and complete and apply all the rules of Hafs 'an Aasim varies from student to student and depends on many factors:
1) The program and curriculum strength
2) The amount of class time
3) The amount of time the student puts in studying at home
4) The ability of the student to comprehend and apply the rules
5) The ability of the student to adjust their speech apparatus with practice to pronounce the Arabic letters correctly with all their characteristics
6) The master level of the teacher and their ability to explain the rules and give step by step corrections for the student to use to correct their recitation.
Therefore we cannot give a time frame but encourage all to enter a course and start learning to recite the Qur'an, the words of Allah correctly and fluently.
May Allah make it easy for all who wish to recite His words as they were revealed.
