Question
What are the Obvious mistakes and Unobvious mistakes in Qur'anic recitation?
Answer
The obvious mistakes, or lahn jalee, are the mistakes which are blatant and obvious to any Arab and to those who may not be Arab but know Arabic and know the Qur'an.  An example of this would be pronouncing the letter ضاد as a زاي or dropping the واو off from recitation of the word ءامنوا
The hidden mistakes (unobvious) لحم خفي are the mistakes that masters of the Qur'an can hear and pick out from one's recitation.
An example of this type of mistake would be missing the merging (idghaam) of the letter noon into the ra' in the phrase من ربك
