Question
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa baraktuh

Are we allowed to mix the way on stopping on ends on words?

For example:  We have three consecutive ayaah ending with dhammah. On the first ayah, we stop with sukoon mahadh; then on the second ayah, we stop with arraum and lastly on the third ayah, we stop with ishmaam.

Jazaakallahu khair katiran.

Answer
Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh
Yes, we can stop on one aayah with , and the next with either or as long as the dhammah is a permanent one or due to grammar and not due to an incident of two saakin letters meeting.  It is allowed to interchange the types of allowable stops.

Wa iyyakum.
