Answer
Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
The ten qira'aat we have today are authentic ways of recitation passed down in authentic chains from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah upon him to us, person to person, generation to generation.  They are all the Qur'an.
The difference between them are differences in accents and ways the different Arab tribes spoke Arabic for the most part, with some words changing slightly too.
For example Hamza and Al-Kisaa'iee have imaalalah, which means reading certain alifaat have way between an alif and a ya'.
After one has mastered one way of reading or a narration, such as Hafs' 'an 'Aasim- the way the majority of Muslims read the Qur'an this day- advanced students may wish to learn some or all of the different qira'aat.
If you are a beginning student do not worry about it now and do not try to study them at this point and instead focus on mastering the way of Hafs 'an 'Aasim and if after mastering that you want more, then you can start studying the different ways of recitation.
May Allah grant you useful knowledge.
Wa iyyaakum
Wa assalaam
