I was listening to the beginning of surah Maryam and am I right to say that between the pronounciation of ayn and Saad there is noon ikhfaa?

Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh,
Yes, there is an ikhfaa' of the noon saakinah of the separate letter pronounced as   before the letter separate letter at the beginning of surah Maryam: .   It follows the normal ikhfa' rules.
