I have a question about the Laams in Allah’s Name.

Assalaamu alaykum
I have a question about the Laams in Allah’s Name. Some people say only the second laam if it is preceeded by a fathah or a dammah is heavy and others say both are heavy can you clarify this for me.

Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh,
The letter with a shaddah cannot be divided when it comes to tafkheem and tarqeeq, so when the Glorious name of Allah-  is preceded by a fathah or a dhammah, both laamaat of the shaddah have tafkheem. 
If you are referring to the first written , that has merged into the second completely and that is why the second has a shaddah on it.
