Question

Jazakallahu khayran for the PDF file.  Could you please provide the name for this particular tareeq (qasr munfasil, tawassut muttasil).

Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakatuh.   Wa iyyakum wa-l-muslimeen.

If a name were to be given it would be qasr al-munfasil with tawassit al-mutassil from tareeq Tayyibati-n-Nashr.  Ash-Shatibiyyah tareeq has its own name because it was well know and documented in the Shatibiyyah poem.  Imam Ibn Al-Jazaree documented these various turuq for Hafs ‘An ‘Aasim and although tareeq Ash-Shatibiyyah is included, they do not necessarily have a specific names other than tareeq Tayyibah An-Nashr.  The way in question is taken from the reading of Al-Hamaamee documented in the book Al-Misbaah by way of Al-Feel.
