Answer

Wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakaatuh.

We ask Allah to make it easy for all of you to memorize the Qur’an and keep it in your hearts until you meet Allah, and He is please with you.  It is wonderful that you already have four that have completed the memorization of the Glorious Qur’an.

There are a few books on the aayaat that are similar in the Qur’an, but they are in Arabic.  If you can read Arabic, please let us know and we will give you the titles of the books.  Imam As-Sakhaawee wrote a poem that is excellent for keeping in mind similar aayaat and which surah has which combination.  It is entitled: Al-Manthoomah As-Sakhaawiyyah fee mutashaabihaat al-Ayaat Al-Qur’aniyyah.

One of the best ways for memorizing the Qur’an is having a written schedule for memorization and review that the students follow.  If students are told to go at their own pace, some will exceed, but others will lag behind.  If there is a group doing the same amount of memorization and review daily or weekly, there will be more peer pressure and group support for the individuals, and it will make it easier for most.  Different schools use different approaches to this, some prefer individual schedules and others group schedules.

May Allah grant you all success in this world and the Hereafter, and we pray that soon we will hear of more of your students completing the entire Qur’an and continuing on to get ijaazah in their recitation.  May Allah grant you all khair.

Wa iyyaakum.

Wa assalaam alaikum wa rahmatu Allah.
