Question As
salaamu alaikum. With
regrets I by myself agree so far I have not completed the whole Qur’an and
may Allah bestow me to read the glorious Qur’an. hope to hear from you. Allah
hafiz Wa
alaikum assalaam wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakaatuh. May
Allah make the Qur’an, its recitation and memorization easy for you. What
is needed is a strict schedule for memorization and reading, one that you
never leave. It may be that you
set a goal of only two aayaat a day, but whatever the goal you set, keep to it
and never do less than your goal. Make
your daily schedule practical to go with your other obligations and routines.
If you are able to memorize more, make your schedule for more, but do
not be so demanding on yourself when you make your schedule that you drop the
whole program after one week. Often
times, in their desire to reach the final goal of memorizing the whole
Qur’an quickly, Muslims put too demanding a schedule on themselves, and they
then easily feel discouraged if they cannot keep it up.
You also need to set up a schedule for daily review of what has already
been memorized. This is not any
less important than memorizing, indeed it is the essence of becoming a true
haafith. Know
that memorizing the whole Qur’an is not an easy thing to do, but very
possible with hard work and a lot of dua’.
May Allah guide you to the best schedule and assist you in your lofty
goal. Wa
assalaam alaikum |
